It's been a few days since my marathon birthday weekend (5th to 7th August) and I've been procrastinating to blog due to extreme fatigue and chocolate cake indigestion (Crap, it's no joke eating 4 cakes in 3 days...I'm swearing off chocolate for a long time).

4th August: (10.00pm) Pottering around my room, trying to pack for the chalet tomorrow. Hmm, what should I wear...crap...tomorrow I have a 10 a.m powerpoint presentation to make on my spiders proposal and I have not started on it yet. *Whistle*...nvm, I'll reuse my old UROPS powerpoint templete. Still got a lot of time...

11.00pm: INUYASHA!!!!
11.30pm: SHAMAN KING!!...Actually, not really "!!" More like, just watch it since its on....ahahah

12.00am: Demin online...asked him if he has started on his powerpoint presentation yet....Waahaha..'No'...Goodie...at least we both in trouble. Hmmm, what else have i not packed..
1.00am: Yawn...think I better go sleep...so exciting.

6.00am: SHIT SHIT SHIT....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

10.00am-2.00pm: I'm saved...Honours students presented first, followed by the Masters students then UROPS...This lab meeting was supposed to end at 1.00pm but due to the many questions people bombared the presenters with, we were 1h behind schedule. People were starting to get impatient and figidty..and that's where i came in...I engineered myself to be the last speaker, knowing full well that by my turn, most people would be thinking of going home and therefore wouldn't bombard me with too many questions. Naturally, it helped that I made my presentation short and sweet and rattled off at machine gun speed to 'seem considerate'....Devious

2.15pm: Steeled myself for a earful from Mommy dearest for making her wait. Actually I thought that i was supposed to call her to fetch me after my lab meeting which supposedly ends at 1.00pm. Somehow, she took it to seem that she should just come at 1.00pm. Okie...my bad.

3.00pm: Guobin (my sis very tall bf) drove me, my Aunty Hua and her maid to the chalet, went to pick up the keys and settle in.

5.00pm: Hrm...no one's here yet. Oh Goodie...I can rest first.

5.30pm: Called xyz...he's still at home sorting out his bidding and appeal stuff. Begged him to fastfast come. Received sms from weiqi saying that she and ruhui were arriving soon.

6.00pm: Food coming in half-an-hour...

6.30pm: Food is here and still noone yet...shitshit...oh nvm...this means I GET TO EAT ALL I WANT FIRST!!!!!

6.45pm: What if everyone comes late?? Wahhhhhh...bad start man...Where the hell is Weitzer and Flora anyway....xyz supposed to be fastfast but now is still at home!!...Weiqi and Ruhui....I have come to the conclusion that my frens have lost their ability to tell time.

7.00pm: YES YES YES...Finally Weiqi, Ruhui and Peiwen have arrived!! So glad...but seems damn pathetic man.

7.30pm: Finally, the calvary has arrived and let's get this show on the road!

Anyway, I just have to write this down...Weitzer was late not cuz lessons or really impt stuff but CUZ HE WAS AT HOME DOING HIS TUTORIAL...FOR GOD's SAKE, NTU JUST STARTED SCHOOL ONLY...NEED TO BE SO KAN JIONG??? Also, can do at the chalet wat..bish bish bish. Hai but this guy no medicine can help. He so onz that he reads the lab safety manual, emails lecturers about the lack of project work partners to which the lecturer replied 'not too worry and that he'll make friend' ala Primary one manner of mom consoling kid. Flora demo: "Ma, I don't have any friends!!"

It's getting late and I have an 8am lecture the next day. Really need to get some sleep after today. Me, xyz, Flora, Weiqi, Weitzer and Yuanwei met up in our full red glory to 'act' patriotic next to the Padang, i.e MARINA BAY. Actually, this has been the best national day celebration I've ever experienced and it's the first time I've spent this holiday with friends. A great experience...will blog about that soon after I've finished my long ramblings on the GREAT CHALET EXPERIENCE...wahaha.
