An ant? NOoooo......This is a spider. Huh? Why so weird? Cuz it's a ant-mimic jumping spider (latin genus: myrmarachne). See how ingenious the camouflage is...Spiders have 2 body segments (the cephalothorax and the abdomen) while insects including ants have 3 body segments (Head, thorax and abdomen). So the first clue that this is not and insect is the presence of only 2 segment. However, the abdomen section is indented and shaped such that it looks like 2 separate pieces! Cool rite. U agree. No buts
